WHO AM I?

Hi! My name is João Figueiredo. I am 14 years old and I have got blond hair and I am of medium height.
I live in Costa da Caparica, which is a city by the sea and near Lisbon.
I live in a house with a swimming pool, with my parents and my little brother, Henrique. I have got a dog called Camila and a cat called Mel.
I usually go to the beach, to have a good time and surf. I like to be with my friends and I like to play computer games. I also like to go to the cinema and my favorite kind of music is Reggae.
I study in Almada, in Anselmo de Andrade and I have good grades. I prefer sciences and math’s and I really like my school.
I do Gymnastics everyday, which is a sport that involves a lot of strength. I would like to host a foreign student because I think it’s a good opportunity to meet new friends, new cultures and to improve my English.

My name’s Daniela Silva and I’m 14 years old. I’m from Portugal and I live near Almada in Costa da Caparica. It’s very good to live here because it’s close to the beach! I’m going to talk a little bit about me, I hope you like it.
I’m a normal girl with brown hair and eyes and of medium height. About my physical aspects there’s not too much to say, so I’m going to talk about my interests, what I do, what I like, kind of music that I hear…
I started school and I don’t do many things in the week because there’s not too much time left. When I get out of school I go to the beach to relax a little bit and hear some music (I hear Indie rock music, Rock Alternative..). When I arrive at home I watch television while the dinner’s not ready and then I go to my sweet internet to see things about Johnny Depp(I love him) and other famous people, talk with my friends and family that live in France.
On the weekend I go to the beach with my family and my dog. I usually go to see my grandpa and grandma that live in Lisbon.
My favourite colours are white, brown and pink and my best friend’s name is Sara. We have many things in common and we share everything to each other because she understands my thoughts and feelings about life and people. Yes, I can say that I Iove my calm life and my lovely friends. I’m a simple girl and I hate bad people that think that the world turns around themselves.
I love chocolate, ice-cream and cupcakes! Yes, probably you are wonder that cupcakes basically don’t exist in Portugal. But you’re wrong, the shop here called “Merry Cupcakes” sells them and it’s great.
I would like to host a student in my house. She would be very well treated and received with lots of love like part of my family. We would go to the beach, to Lisbon, to the theatre, to the cinema, to the Oceanarium, etc.
My house has only two bedrooms, mine and one of my parents, one bathroom, two living rooms, a kitchen and a balcony. It’s very simple… my bedroom is small, but I have two beds for when one of my friends sleeps over here and they love!
I hope you like what you’ve just read and don’t mind about the descriptions of my house… I am a good friend and I intend to create a friendship and keep it. See you here! ♥

Finding myself, ♥

No one knows how to introduce himself or herself or what to say. Because people don’t know who they are with just a few years of life. Everyone is different even if you try to be like someone in your life. Everyone has his/her own favourite things, fears, everyone feels love for someone and everyone has his/her qualities.

Who am I?

Well, someone who wants to live her teenage life peacefully, going to a college, falling  in love at the right time, living life with a lot of smiles and fun and some day may have one of her dreams come true and get a medical degree. But everything   at  its time. Right now, I’m just one more girl in this world.

A girl with 14 years old, brown eyes and hair, some freckles and normal height. At first, seems like a normal girl to everyone but I don’t think so. In fact, I think I don't fit in the  normal teenage’s  society.

While everyone likes to go out, have fun outside his/her houses, have a million friends...I like to stay at home all the time, listening to Bon Iver or Florence and the Machine while reading a book or sometimes searching for new TV Shows in the internet to watch. My interests are a little bit different from my all friends. Internet is really good for the ones like me, who don’t like to mess with others and have parties all the time. I have met in the internet people like me and I have some good friends there too. Is it dangerous? Well, it may be. But going out every night and getting drunk is dangerous too, so I think I’m fine. Knowing people that like the things you love is pretty good.

I live in Lisbon, capital of our country and the largest city on here as well.

I like to eat and I don’t care about what people think. I love chocolate and ice cream. I don’t like Summer, the beach and I hate the heat and the sun. On the other hand, I love Winter! It’s like my favourite season of all the year. I like it either when it rains or when It’s cold and we have to wear boots, scarves, coats and gloves! I love watching movies and TV Shows, one of my obsessions. I have read all the books of both Twilight and Harry Potter series and I love them. I like to watch The Vampire Diaries, Supernatural, Misfits, The Lying Game, Glee, The Secret Circle and I loved the first season of Game of Thrones. One of my favourite movies is Beauty and the Beast, Disney’s classic and also The Notebook, Never Let Me Go, A Walk To Remember, 8 Mile, Twilight,The Sound of Music, American History X, Wall.E, Ratatouille &500 Days of Summer.

I love drinking water and I really hate Coke. When I was younger I did ballet for 5 years. I think I still remember to rehearse every month for the shows. I’m a little bit emotional about some things all the time, what sometimes is not good but what to do? It’s me and I won’t change for anything. At school I’m always listening to music and at home the situation is the same. My taste for music is different. At least compared  with the others. I don’t like Pop music. I really don’t like it. Sometimes I end up saying that I always like bands and singers that no one knows. Like Mumford and Sons, Bon Iver, Band of Horses, Sia, Damien Rice, Bright Eyes and the of course, The Beatles, Radiohead, Eddie Vedder, Oasis…I like Indie/folk music that has a meaning. Music where  singers write lyrics and sing them with their souls.

More? Hum, I have a crush on some celebrities like: Emma Stone, Darren Criss, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, Candice Accola and Jensen Ackles. I like vintage clothes, pink and orange, I love sushi, strawberries, mango, watermelon, cartoons, sleeping, jewellery, Japanese and chinese food, smiling and I love Kristen Stewart.

A lot of people say bad things about her but as a fan I know that she’s not like that. She’s not a common Hollywood star who opens up to everyone and is fake. She’s beautiful, very talented, funny, wonderful, fantastic, true to herself and doesn’t care about what people say about her. Three years ago I didn’t know her but from the moment I was fan of hers my life changed for better, of course.

Sara Filipa is my name and I may have a clue about who I am.

My name is Gonçalo Santos. I am thirteen years old. I have got short brown hair, oval face and brown greenish eyes. I’m brunette, of medium height and average build.

I’m friendly, nice and cool. I live with my mother, my father and my sister.

I live in a flat in the city of Almada. I have got some fishes and a rabbit.

I like playing computer games, playstation3, wii, football, movies, going to the beach, listening to music and swimming, etc. These are my interests! What about yours?
